Killcare Beach, with its crashing waves and views south across the mouth of the Hawkesbury to the Northern Beaches is the perfect location for a beach holiday or day trip over the summer months. Bouddi National Park starts at the Northern end of the beach with plenty of bushwalking opportunities as well.
Please note: There is patchy mobile reception at Killcare Beach.
transport & PARKING
Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive and settle in on the morning of the event.
Parking is limited so we strongly encourage car pooling. Alternatively (and highly recommended) use our shuttle bus transfer from Woy Woy train station. Drive (or catch public transport) to the station and catch our convenient shuttle bus directly to the Event Centre.
BUS SHUTTLE TRANSFER
Runners are strongly encouraged to use our park and ride shuttle bus or public transport to access the event. An event shuttle bus will run participants from Woy Woy Station to Killcare Beach, and back to Woy Woy Station after you have finished your race. If you are coming via train we recommend checking Trip Planner for the most accurate and up to date train information.
Bus shuttles to the start line will run between 6:45am and 7:05am and will to allow runners sufficient time to complete registration prior to race start. The bus shuttles can take up to 30 minutes to the Event Centre, depending on traffic conditions. Any 21km runners who arrive via train and catch the 7:05am shuttle will have access to a priority registration line for fast bib collection.
The return shuttles back to Woy Woy Station will leave hourly and commence at 11:00 am. Full details will be released in the Event Program. Please note the bus shuttles can take up to 30 minutes to the Event Centre, depending on traffic conditions.
Shuttle bus tickets are $6 per person and must be booked prior to race day through the registration platform. Find your Bouddi Coastal Run registration and ‘Purchase Merchandise’ to add a bus ticket. Please select the correct number of seats required as this will impact the bus charter service capacity.
DRIVING TO THE VENUE
For those participants who choose to drive, we strongly encourage car-pooling with fellow runners to help reduce congestion.
Parking at Killcare Beach is limited and will fill-up quickly; overflow parking is available along Beach Drive and surrounding streets.
Please follow the directions of event marshals and be courteous of residents and other beach users – parking is not reserved for event participants.

FOOD
The Killcare Beach Kiosk will be open from 7am-5pm, providing coffee before and after the race along with cold drinks and hot food. EFTPOS and cash are accepted. The kiosk is a short walk from the finish line at the end of the Killcare Surf Club building.
Bells at Killcare is situated nearby on the spectacular Bouddi Peninsula and has a onsite Bakery and award winning bar & restaurant.
