Bouddi Coastal Run is back for 2026 and this spectacular coastal trail run is one not to miss! If you haven’t already, now is the time to get your entry into either the 21km or 14km race sorted and line up some running mates to join you.
We have a few updates to share with you while you prepare for the event:
BOARDWALK NEAR BOUDDI CLIFFS:
National Parks have identified several short sections of the boardwalk that they do not want you to run on due to their current condition. From the stairs at the north end of Killcare Beach, there are short sections that you will be asked to walk (a total distance of about 300m), before running again once you are off the boardwalk. Marshals and signage will be in location to remind you to walk through these sections. While understandably frustrating, the rest for your legs at the end of the sand along the beach might be welcomed!
BEAT THE HEAT:
We’ve brought the race start time forward by 30 min this year to reduce your time in the potential hot conditions on the day. Shuttle bus times have also changed to align with the earlier start. If you are a regular at the Bouddi Coastal Run, you might need to set your alarm 30mins earlier this year.
STAY HYDRATED:
Don’t forget that it is MANDATORY that all runners carry 500mL of fluids. We will be checking this before race start so make sure you come prepared. Runners without fluids will not be permitted to start.
STAY FOR THE WEEKEND:
We are super excited to announce that Beach Retreats are joining us once again as a major sponsor of the Bouddi Coastal Run. Beach Retreats have some incredible properties located close to the event, some of which we will be featuring across our news and socials in the coming weeks.
The Bouddi Coastal Run is also part of Central Coast Council’s The Lakes Festival – there is so much happening on the coast during event week, consider staying and checking out some of the other events and activities on offer!
